“The story here is fractured, non-linear, glimpsing a future where human relationships no longer exist. Animated graphics hint at bones and organs; a robotic voiceover muses on the idea of soul mates. Wiggling into each other’s negative space, the dancers tackle this dystopia with lithe, sometimes acrobatic configurations. One of the best scenes sees Danzico arc backwards and balance on her head, her arms adrift like deep-sea tentacles” Sara Veale
London based dace practice Spotflow collective (Caterina Danzico, Moses Ward) invited me to contribute to their piece ‘Rimani’ with a scenography, in occasion of ‘Resolution’ festival at The place Theatre, London. The scenography reflected on the notion of love expressed by the piece via the digital animation of a series of digital artworks, which altered ligaments into landscapes.
